4th International Women’s Day celebrated in London by UKTA
UK Telugu Association celebrated International Women’s Day in London on Friday 7th March 2014. One day prior to the International Women’s day. UKTA is non-religious, non-profit organisation that encourages Telugu speaking people around the United Kingdom to actively participate in the progress of the community that defines their identity. UKTA has been celebrating International Women’s Day for 3 years continuesly. This year as its 4th year it was celebrated at The Nehru Centre.
The Nehru Centre is a cultural centre and a part of High Commission of India. The Nehru Centre in London is run by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), an autonomous organisation affiliated to the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
