Cyderabadis Cycle 520 kms from London to Paris
Life is a circle for many but life is a CYCLE for few champs!! A 520 Km cycle challenge from London to Paris was held between 28th May 2013 to June 30th 2013. This race was organised to support the “U foundation” that supports education for people in Zambia. There were totally 42 participants across the globe out of which 8 participants were representing India.
A team consisting of 8 members from the Hyderabad Bicycles club (HBC) participated and successfully completed the “London to Paris Cycle Challenge”. After completion, they made the Nation proud by hoisting the tricoloured Indian flag on the Eiffel Tower. Truly, the gesture reminds us of an Indian patriotic song “Janda ooncha rahae hamara”.
