Dance: Rasa Vaibhava
Deepa Srinath

Deepa Srinath will be performing traditional Bharatanatyam dance pieces to start with and will continue with the main piece – A Solo  Dance Feature – Navarasas in Ramayana. This entertaining dance feature highlights Navarasas in order and yet connects the entire  epic of Valmiki Ramayana. The story does not project one defined character as heroic, instead sheds light on different characters  through different emotions. Using Sanskrit verses for dialogues, and using props to aid dancing, this dance feature blends neo-bharatam for choreography and traditional mythology for story-telling.
