Kannadigaru UK aims to create a healthy environment and provide platforms for talented individuals to exhibit and perform Kannada art, literature, music & dance that are integral part of South Indian culture.

Kreeda Mela 2013 is a sport event arranged by Kannadigaru UK (KUK) Association on Saturday 15th June. It was promised to have Sports, Games, Family, Fun and Entertainment. The event included badminton, cricket, slow cycle race and other games as well fun activities (both indoor sports and out-door sports). The sports programme was inaugurated with the traditional ribbon cutting by Ranjith Shetty who is the Sr. Manager – Forex of UAE Exchange UK. UAE Exchange is one of the leading currency exchange company in the UK.

Ranjith Shetty congratulated the organisers from the KUK appreciated for extraordinary effort and commitment in organising such sports event in the UK. He also dedicated the badminton sports trophy to one of his close friends the late Dr Bharath Rai, who’s 5th death anniversary falls this month. A minute’s silence was observed by other close friends of the late Dr Bharath Rai.

The Organisers distributed prizes to the winners in the presence of Ranjith Shetty, Dr Arvind Shetty, Narayan Hedge and other dignitaries. Kannadigaru-UK’s cultural events lead Mr Arun Raghavendra proposed the vote of thanks.
