VbeatsUK an art concern based in London presents ‘Bharatham-Bhava, Raaga, Thaala, Melanam’, a creative gala of Theatre and music at The Archbishop Lanfranc School, Mithcham Road, Croydon, Sureey, CR9 3AS on 15/02/2014. The event, which spotlights a glamourous musical play titled ‘Swathi Vedam’ and a grand live Music night rendering the all- time hit numbers from the world of Malayalm , Tamil and Hindi cinema is to be ingaurated by the celebrated actor of Malayalam Cinema Padmashree Madhu.

The musical play ‘Swathi Vedam’ features the life and music of the late poet-king Swathithirunal of Travancore. The play written and directed by Manoj shiva also attempts to intepret the great sacrifices of all martyrs on earth and comparing it to Mahabeli as huge sacrifice by creatively illustrating swathithirunal’s struggle in keeping the balance of life between reality and his artistic inclination. ‘Swathi Vedam’ is enacted on stage by a bunch of really talented artists all from local malayalee community.

The music night led by one of UK’s popular key-board artist Mr Albert Vijayan celebrates the ever green numbers of Indian music including popular film songs and glorious works of incredibly talented artistes of the past and present from various languages of India. Mr Joy, Mr Sethu Warrior, Mr Rajesh Raman, Mr Fahad Parapurath, Ms Suprabha P Nair and Mr Manoj Shiva are the other artists performing in this Music night.
