Shane blends Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance to form ‘Power Games’

Shane Shambhu, East Ham born dancer, actor and award-winning choreographer of Kerala origin is currently on a national tour combining Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance. He brings together his Bharatanatyam training with contemporary dance to tell modern day stories.

He formed a theatre company ‘Altered Skin’ and their production ‘Power Games’ will be featured in several parts of the United Kingdom.

Power Games is the story of Deepak, a wealthy banker whose high flying life of gambling and drinking is spiralling out of control.

Altered Skin is touring across the UK and coming to London on the 19th & 20th March.

About Shane
Shane Shambhu is a dancer, actor and an award-winning choreographer of South Indian origin. Shane is a Malayalee, born and brought up in East Ham, son of Mr Surendran and Mrs Suleha of Milton Avenue. Shane Shambhu has acted and performed internationally with many companies including a cinema screening and radio play worldwide, mingling with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Ralph Fiennes, Rowan Atkinson, Nitin Ganatra, Tamil actor Vijay and Bollywood stars Amir Khan and Sanjna Kapoor.
