Young Telugu actor and choreographer K.Vijay dies in Nepal Earthquake
K.Vijay, a Telugu actor, who was only 25 years old died in the Nepal earthquake. Vijay had visited Nepal for etakaram.com movie shoot along with the unit. It is reported that Vijay died when they were returning from shooting when the car in which they were travelling turned around.
Vijay was a promising character-role artist and also was a dance choreographer. He died on the spot while the other two who were traveling with him survived with injuries.
The film, reportedly starring Manoj Nandam and Dinesh, was being shot in the country and Vijay was playing a friend of the character played by Dinesh.
Vijay hails from Bapatla in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The film industry has urged the government to bring home Vijay’s body.
The 20-member unit was initially thought to be safe but is reportedly still missing. Kishan said the team had left Hyderabad on April 15 for Gorakhpur en-route to Nepal.
The crew was shooting a song sequence in Kathmandu for the past 10 days.
Directed by Veerender Reddy and produced by Ramesh Chandu, the team is doing everything they can to return back home safely.
